The Site
La Salindre is situated in the southern Cévennes mountains, 70 kms from the Mediterraneen sea, at an altitude of 400m, in the valley of the Salindrenque, also called “val d’émeraude”. It is an ancient domain which contains several buildings, amongst which there is a Benedictine cloister founded in the 12th century.
